I am a biological oceanographer based out of Vancouver Canada at the University of British Columbia. My work focuses mainly on open ocean systems, where I use size-based models to quantify secondary production and active carbon transport. I have participated in numerous research cruises across the Pacific Ocean. I am particularly interested in linking lower trophic levels, such as zooplankton, to higher trophic levels of commercial importance.
